2023 IWSL Important Dates

March 8 - League Registration Opens

May 8 - Deadline to register for the State Cup.

If your team is interested in playing in the Illinois State Cup please register at https://www.illinoissoccer.org/events. Registration deadline is 5/8/23. This is a single elimination tournament. Illinois State Championships are held in mid-July with the top two teams advancing to the Regional Tournament of Champions (TOC) in late July.

April 22 - Deadline for Team Registration for the summer season for all Divisions.

May 8 - First draft of season schedules sent to Team Managers for review and approval.

May 14 - Summer Schedule for the U23, First, and Major Divisions released
All players, managers, and coaches will have access to the schedule online through their IWSL dashboard.

May 6 - Payment Deadline for Team Registration (U23, First, and Major Divisions)

May 27 - Deadline for U23, First, and Major Division Player Registration
Player registration, payment, age verification, and headshot must be complete in order for the team to receive their player passes by the first game. The full set of team passes will be available for the team manager once all player registrations for the team are complete, or an incomplete set on May 27, whichever comes first. Managers may pick up the passes or have them shipped. Please coordinate with ILStateSoccer@gmail.com. After the deadline, please allow up to 10 days for pass processing and delivery. Players will not be permitted to play without a pass.

No Games Memorial Day Weekend

June 4 & 6 - Summer Season Begins (U23, First, and Major Divisions)

July 2 & 4 - No Games (Independence Day Break)

July 23 & 25 - Last games of the regular season (July 30 is the designated make-up date for the first and major divisions)
